The Core Method

Three stages. One clear goal.

Every project follows our proven Discover → Build → Launch process, so you always know what's happening, what's coming next, and exactly what you'll get.

01

Discover

We start by understanding your business, your audience, and what the website needs to achieve. No guesswork — just a clear foundation to build on.

Goals & audience workshop

We define who the site is for, what it should do, and how success will be measured.

Competitor review

We look at what your competitors are doing online so we can position you to stand out.

Sitemap & wireframes

A page-by-page plan with rough layouts, so the structure is agreed before we design.

Clear written brief

Everything agreed in one document — scope, timeline, and cost with no ambiguity.

02

Build

Design and development happen side by side. You'll see your site take shape on a private staging link, with regular check-ins so nothing is a surprise.

Visual design concepts

We create designs that reflect your brand and are built to convert visitors into customers.

Responsive development

Built mobile-first, tested across devices, and optimised for speed from the start.

Content integration

Your copy, images, and media placed where they'll have the most impact.

Testing & QA

Every page checked for bugs, accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.

03

Launch

We handle the technical details so launch day runs smoothly. Once you're live, we stick around to make sure everything is working as it should.

Final review & sign-off

A thorough walkthrough with you before anything goes live. Nothing launches until you're happy.

DNS & hosting setup

We configure your domain, SSL certificates, and hosting so you don't have to.

Post-launch checks

We monitor performance, fix any issues, and verify everything is running smoothly.

Handover & training

We walk you through making content updates yourself, and we're always here if you need us.

Common questions about our process

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on the scope, but most projects take between two and eight weeks from kickoff to launch. A small content-led project can be turned around in as little as a week or two; something with bookings, portals, integrations, or a large amount of content takes longer.

The biggest variable is usually content and feedback turnaround. We build quickly, but if we're waiting on copy, images, or sign-off, the timeline stretches. We'll agree a realistic schedule at the start and keep you updated throughout.

What do I need to provide before we start?

At a minimum, we need a clear idea of what your site should achieve and who it's for. Beyond that, anything you can share upfront helps us move faster:

  • Your logo and any existing brand guidelines (colours, fonts)
  • Examples of websites you like the look and feel of
  • Content for your key pages, even in rough form
  • Any specific functionality you need (booking systems, forms, portals, integrations)
  • Access to your domain registrar and hosting, if you have them

Don't worry if you haven't got all of this ready. The Discovery phase is designed to help you work through it.

How does the feedback process work?

You'll see your site taking shape on a private staging link that only you and our team can access. At each milestone — wireframes, visual design, development — we'll walk you through what's been built and ask for your feedback before moving on.

Feedback is collected in writing so nothing gets lost, and we typically allow two rounds of revisions at each stage. That keeps the project moving without anyone feeling rushed. If something isn't right, we'd rather know early than discover it on launch day.

What happens on launch day?

Launch day is carefully planned, not a scramble. Before we go live, we run a full checklist: cross-browser testing, mobile responsiveness, page speed, SEO fundamentals, accessibility checks, form submissions, and analytics setup.

Once you've given final sign-off, we handle the DNS switch, SSL certificates, and any hosting configuration. We monitor the site closely for the first 24–48 hours to catch anything unexpected, and we're on hand if you spot something that needs adjusting.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Yes. We don't build a site and disappear. If you need text changed, a new page added, or something isn't working as it should, get in touch and we'll sort it.

For small updates we'll just get them done. For larger pieces of work — a new section, a redesign, additional functionality — we'll quote separately so you know exactly what you're paying for. We also keep an eye on security updates and performance, because a website needs looking after long-term.

What if I need changes during the build?

It happens, and it's fine. Small tweaks and refinements are a normal part of the process and are included in your quote. If you want to add something that wasn't in the original scope — an extra page, new functionality, a different content structure — we'll let you know the impact on cost and timeline before doing anything.

We'd always rather have that conversation early. A change mid-build is manageable; a change after launch is more expensive for everyone.

Ready to get started?

Every project begins with a conversation. Tell us what you're looking to achieve and we'll take it from there — no obligation, no pressure.
